Motorway Police Revives Old Speed Limit Policy for All Vehicles
The government has reversed its temporary speed limit reduction and restored the old speed limits on motorways and national highways.
According to Motorway Police spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed, cars and light vehicles can now travel at 120 km/h on motorways, while buses and heavy vehicles are allowed to travel at 110 km/h.
The previous speed limits on national highways have also been restored.
Motorway Police advised drivers to follow traffic rules, wear seat belts, and drive carefully.
Syed Imran Ahmed said the decision was made to ease travel for motorists, while ensuring road safety remains a top priority.
