M-2 MOTORWAY NOW EQUIPPED WITH ULTRAFAST EV CHARGING STATIONS
Electric vehicle (EV) owners traveling on the M-2 Motorway can now enjoy quicker and more convenient charging thanks to the introduction of a new network of ultrafast charging stations at key motorway service areas.
The newly installed charging points are now operational at Chakri (North), Kallar Kahar (South), Bhera (North & South), and Sial Mor (North), providing improved charging access for motorists on one of Pakistan’s busiest highways.
Each location is equipped with a 360 kVA ultrafast charger capable of charging up to four electric vehicles at the same time. Most compatible EVs can recharge in approximately 15 to 20 minutes, making long-distance journeys more efficient and reducing waiting times.
This development is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s electric vehicle infrastructure, support the growing number of EV users, and encourage cleaner, more sustainable transportation across the country.
The rollout of these high-speed charging stations represents another important milestone in expanding Pakistan’s nationwide EV charging network and improving the overall travel experience for electric vehicle owners.
