Lahore Traffic Police Ban Heavy Bikes on CBD Main Boulevard
Lahore Traffic Police have prohibited the entry of heavy motorcycles on CBD Main Boulevard after receiving repeated complaints about illegal racing, loud exhaust noise, and reckless riding.
Chief Traffic Officer Lahore, Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi, announced the restriction and directed traffic personnel to take strict action against anyone violating the ban.
The move is intended to improve road safety and stop groups of bikers from using the boulevard for street racing and other dangerous activities that put drivers, pedestrians, and local residents at risk.
Traffic officials said several heavy motorcycle riders had been gathering on the boulevard, creating traffic disruptions and disturbing public order.
Authorities also warned that racing, one-wheeling, road blockades, and any other reckless or unlawful behaviour will not be tolerated, and violators will face legal action.
