GWM Set to Launch Its First Pickup Truck in Pakistan in June 2026
Great Wall Motors (GWM) is expected to introduce the Cannon Alpha Plug-in Hybrid pickup truck in Pakistan in June 2026. The information comes from Arif Habib Limited’s Upcoming Automobile Launch Tracker.
According to international specifications, the Cannon Alpha PHEV is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine combined with an electric motor. Together, they produce around 300 kW of power and 750 Nm of torque. The vehicle uses a 9-speed automatic hybrid transmission and comes with a four-wheel-drive (4WD) system.
One of the key features of the pickup is its ability to run on electric power alone. The vehicle can travel up to 115 kilometers in pure EV mode, while its total driving range exceeds 1,000 kilometers on a full charge and fuel tank. It also supports fast charging for added convenience.
Although GWM has not yet revealed official prices or detailed specifications for Pakistan, the Cannon Alpha is expected to be one of the most important vehicle launches in the country during June 2026.
