Govt Approves Rs. 9.5 Crore Bulletproof Land Cruiser for Chinese Security
The federal government has approved the purchase of a bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser worth Rs. 95.049 million to enhance security for Chinese nationals and official delegations working on CPEC-related projects.
According to officials, the vehicle will be assigned to the CPEC Secretariat as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security arrangements. Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said ensuring the safety of Chinese citizens remains a key government priority.
Reports also state that the new bulletproof SUV will join the existing fleet of security vehicles, while helicopters are also being used or acquired to support the protection of Chinese personnel in Pakistan.
