Police in Lahore have taken legal action against several motorists accused of performing dangerous drifting stunts inside the basement parking area of a shopping mall in Defence.
A case was registered at Defence B Police Station following a complaint by the traffic police, after videos of the incident circulated widely on social media. The footage reportedly showed around 30 vehicles being driven recklessly, with individuals including Bilal Malik and Ghulam Murtaza performing risky drifting manoeuvres.
According to the complaint, the drivers were involved in overspeeding, zigzag driving and dangerous stunts, creating serious risks to public safety and property. Authorities also pointed out that some vehicles were using fake or non-standard number plates.
Police have registered the case under the relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Ordinance.
