Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced that from January 1, vehicles lacking M-Tags will not be allowed to enter Islamabad. During a meeting at the Safe City Headquarters, he assessed security arrangements and public safety plans, instructing officials to accelerate efforts to transform Islamabad into Pakistan’s first smart city.
The deputy commissioner requested citizens to visit any of the 16 M-Tag registration centers operating across Islamabad to get their vehicles tagged.
