Motorway M-2 has imposed restrictions on the movement of heavy and cargo vehicles travelling from Lahore towards Islamabad under new traffic measures introduced by the Motorway Police.
The restrictions are part of wider traffic controls affecting several major routes. The M-14 between Hakla and Kundal and the N-5 at Attock Khurd are also closed. Meanwhile, the M-1 Motorway connecting Islamabad and Peshawar is expected to remain closed for all traffic from 11 PM until further notice.
Motorists and travellers are advised to avoid the affected roads, stay updated on the latest traffic conditions, and choose alternative routes to minimise delays and inconvenience.
