The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), in collaboration with the Sindh Excise Department, has introduced a modern vehicle transfer system. With this new facility, citizens can verify their biometrics using their mobile phones instead of visiting registration centers.
Mobile Verification:
Buyers and sellers can complete their biometric verification using the Pak-ID mobile app on their smartphones.
Process:
Once the verification is done through the app, users will still need to go to the excise office to finish the vehicle transfer documents.
Security:
This system uses digital identity checks to make sure the buyer and seller are genuine.
Mandatory Rule:
The Sindh Excise Department is introducing this system step by step. In the future, biometric verification will be required for both the buyer and the seller.
