Motorcycle Installment Dealer in Lahore Faces Traffic Fines Worth Rs 23 Lakh

500 Bikes, 2,000+ Tickets: Installment Seller Faces PKR 2.3 Million in Traffic Fines

A city resident who sells motorcycles on easy installments has accumulated traffic fines worth more than PKR 2.3 million in his name.

According to Safe City authorities, around 500 motorcycles are still registered under the individual’s ownership, leading to the issuance of 2,071 traffic violation tickets.

Sources revealed that the resident, belonging to Gadhi Shahu, sold over 500 motorcycles on installment plans. However, since many buyers have neither completed full payments nor transferred ownership, the bikes remain registered in the seller’s name.

As a result, all traffic violations committed using these motorcycles are being recorded against the original owner.
