Lahore authorities have put comprehensive plans in place to manage the heavy traffic expected during the three-day Basant celebrations, as officials predict more than 500,000 cars and motorcycles will enter the city. To ensure smooth movement and security, nearly 10,000 police personnel along with 2,500 traffic wardens will be stationed, backed by special patrol teams on key routes.
Chief Traffic Officer Athar Waheed stated that additional staff will oversee all entry and exit points, while Safe City cameras will provide live rooftop surveillance across the Red Zone.
