The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise and Taxation Department has successfully completed the auction of 11 highly sought-after vehicle registration numbers in Peshawar, generating a total of Rs 5.81 crore in revenue.
The highest offer was made for Wazir-1, which was sold for Rs 1.5 crore, followed by Afridi-1 at Rs 1.40 crore and Khan-1 at Rs 1.11 crore.
Peshawar-1 fetched Rs 1 crore, while Haripur-1, Yusufzai-1, and Durrani-1 were also sold for hefty prices. Other plates including Swabi-1, Malakand-1, DI Khan-1, and Gandapur-1 also received strong bidding interest.
